Official Giveaway Rules
Laurus Birthday Party Giveaway · October 13-27, 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Laurus Birthday Party Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Laurus Events Inc. (the “Sponsor”). By entering, each entrant agrees to these Official Giveaway Rules and the Sponsor's decisions, which are final.
1. Giveaway period
The Giveaway opens October 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and closes October 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Giveaway Period”). The Sponsor's systems are the official timekeeping device.
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Montreal or the Greater Montreal region, Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in Quebec when they enter. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, and contractors of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible. The Sponsor may request proof of age, identity, residence, and eligibility.
3. How to enter
During the Giveaway Period, visit landing.laurussummercamp.com, complete the official entry form, accept these Rules, and submit the form. Limit one entry per person and per email address. Duplicate entries will be removed before the draw and do not improve the entrant's chances. Entries generated by scripts, bots, macros, or other automated means, and entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, late, or otherwise non-compliant, are void. Entry into the Giveaway is separate from optional consent to receive promotional email or text messages.
4. Prize
There is one prize: a three-hour Laurus birthday party experience with an approximate retail value of $1,000 CAD. The prize includes Laurus staffing and the Laurus-led activities and materials agreed upon in the winner's party plan, delivered at the winner's home or another venue approved by the Sponsor within Greater Montreal. Venue rental, food, cake, decorations, transportation, taxes, permits, insurance required by a third-party venue, and other third-party charges are not included unless the Sponsor confirms otherwise in writing. The final party plan, activity selection, staffing, date, venue, and safety requirements are subject to the Sponsor's approval and availability.
5. Prize conditions
The prize must be booked at least 30 days in advance and used no later than October 31, 2027. Blackout dates, team availability, travel limits, weather, venue rules, age suitability, and safety requirements may apply. The prize has no cash value, is not transferable or refundable, and cannot be combined with another offer, except at the Sponsor's discretion. The Sponsor may substitute a prize component with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
6. Random draw and odds
A random draw from all eligible entries received will take place in Montreal, Quebec, on October 29, 2026 at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Selected entrant
The selected entrant will be contacted using the email address supplied on the entry form. To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must respond within five calendar days, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance, provide requested proof of eligibility, and sign any eligibility, release, and prize-acceptance documents reasonably required by the Sponsor. If these requirements are not met, the selected entrant may be disqualified and another entrant may be selected.
8. Publicity and privacy
Personal information is collected to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, contact the selected entrant, deliver the prize, prevent duplicate entries, and comply with legal obligations. Optional marketing consent is not required to enter and may be withdrawn at any time. Subject to applicable law, the confirmed winner may be asked to permit the Sponsor to use the winner's first name, city, and a photograph relating to the prize for Giveaway publicity without additional compensation. 9. Release and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, entrants release the Sponsor and its employees, representatives, agents, suppliers, and advertising partners from claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or technically inaccessible entries, or for interruptions or failures outside its reasonable control.
10. General conditions
The Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, acts fraudulently, disrupts the Giveaway, or violates these Rules. If the Giveaway cannot operate as planned for reasons beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, the Sponsor may modify, suspend, or terminate it, subject to applicable law, and may award the prize from eligible entries received before the change. The Giveaway is governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.
11. Social platforms
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. Each entrant releases those platforms from responsibility relating to the Giveaway.
